The Friday night lights came to the end recently; the local teams WestSeattle (4-4) and Chief Sealth (4-5) have ended their seasons. They
both played home games at the Southwest Athletic Complex, an artificial
turf field with the stands on one side and the field lights on the other.
Sitting in the stands the lights reflects off of the field making it almost impossible to photograph from the stand side. I grew up in Texas where on Friday night
the football lights draw thousands to the stands. It's almost like everyone in town
looks forward to the big game but in the metro league it was different.
A quieter game played with the same amount of heart.
