Last week, I photographed the Duwamish Alive clean up at Pigeon Point Park and other
locations. Luckily, the weather was clear and sunny while the clean up
was happening. It was an assignment that made me miss working for a daily
newspaper a lot. I love shooting assignments that throw you into the mix with a diverse group of
community members that care about their communities. I was shocked to know the ivy I see almost everywhere, along with the blackberry bushes, actually are invasive to the Pacific Northwest.
