On New Years Day, Father Eric Freed was found murdered in the St. Bernard rectory. Over the next six days, I covered different aspects of the aftermath of the tragedy.  It was the hardest thing I've ever covered. The depth of the loss went to the core of the community. I attended a Sunday mass given by the Bishop Vasa , he spoke about how darkness came over the community but even in the darkest corners of the church light came through. When making my photos, I tried to find that light.
