I turned my scanner on as I pulled out of the parking lot of the Samoa Drag Strip. I hear "the caller is chasing the two people with crossbows and one man is bleeding in the road." Turns out I'm only a few miles from the location. I rush over to see a bloody man laying on the side of the road with a officer standing next to him. I make a few photos and then rush down the road towards where the suspects where headed to find another officer standing near their abandon bikes they ditched to head into the dunes. I hear another man is dead in the woods - more police arrive to search the dunes. Police would later arrest Phoenix Triton King, 21, and a 16-year-old girl, identified in court as Rosalie Adams, for the murder of 44-year-old James John James. The other victim suffered three crossbow injuries.
